About Film & TV Academy
Film & TV Academy (FTA) is a weekend acting and filmmaking academy in Buckinghamshire where young people aged 8–18 learn to create their own films for cinema release at Odeon. Each project spans several weeks, giving students the chance to act on screen, join the film crew, or do both — with no pressure to perform if they prefer to work behind the camera.
Guided by experienced mentors, students gain hands-on experience with professional filmmaking equipment in a fun, supportive, and collaborative environment. Every term culminates in a red-carpet cinema premiere at Odeon, where students see their work on the big screen.
